If you plan it, you’re more likely to do it. Make voting part of your routine - your morning run, on the way to work, or when you’re off to see your friends.
Remember, you don’t need your ballot paper to vote,
just turn up and use https://wheredoivote.co.uk/ to find out where to vote. Polls open between 7am - 10pm.
You don’t have to tell them how to vote, but asking them when they are voting, may be the reminder they need to use their vote.
If you live nearby, vote together, or meet up afterwards.
Create your own images and content that encapsulates the #SHEvotes message share across your social channels.
Share a photo of you at the polling station on election day.

Why are we doing this?
If you’re a woman under 30, you’re one of the least likely groups to vote in the entire country.
You’re also the most likely to be an undecided voter.
#SHEvotes is a movement to help young women realise the power of their vote. When it comes to age and gender, young women are the demographic least likely to vote. Yet politics has a massive impact on their lives. In a world where they are all too often silenced and marginalised, we think it’s time for young women to realise how powerful they are.
On December 12th we want the voices of young women to be heard. So we’re asking as many young women as possible to share this message with their peers - whether by making content, sharing selfies, or phoning up their friends and asking them to vote.
#SHEvotes was started by a group of young female friends
who feel passionate about their peers being heard.
